A large Kumily home that carries traditional Kerala forms — steeply pitched clay-tile roofs, gables and a deep entrance porch — over white walls trimmed with rough stone. Teak recurs throughout the interior: a coffered lattice ceiling above the living room, a full timber staircase, and joinery framing the doors. A double-height light well holds a stepped, two-tone stone wall above a koi pond.
